The most enjoyable hard enduro and by far my favorite race of the year.

Coming back this year a lot fitter and with a lot more experience I had only one goal insight and that again was to get to the finish line.

Starting off with the beach race, I had a clear and smooth run with no hiccups and that left me ending up in the top 50 overall, therefor qualifying for the main/final beach race against some of the best in the world.

This for me was just survival of a 15 minute plus 1 lap Mx/Enduro X sandy track. At the end of the race i was utterly exhausted but had so much fun!

The Forrest race didn’t go according to plan, I felt as if I was all over the show, crashing 1 too many times putting me far back ending up in 66th position.

The day that counted had arrived. starting on the 6th row behind 50 riders, from the moment that flag dropped I knew it would be the most intense 7 hours of my life, and that it was. There was absolutely no time to rest, it was so technically difficuly, the extreme heat took its toll and the lack of traction played its part in exhaustion.

I reached the summit of mount Olympus with 8 minutes to spare but with the biggest smile on my face. I finished Sea to Sky gold class and came across the finish line in 24th position.
