I will be leaving for the Merzouga Rally in Morocco and 26 March, arriving in Erfoud, Morocco on 27 April.
28-30 March I will be doing testing on the bike and riding in the dunes the BAS Dakar Team.

Every Athlete’s dream is to represent their country for their sport. That dream came true for me. After 3 years of applying for my national colors I was finally awarded my Springbok colors for Motorsport. All the years of hard work, long hours of training, sacrifices made and purely for the love of the sport.
Before entering the 2016 ROA, we discussed what class to enter. I wasn’t sure whether to enter Silver for the 3rd year or take a gamble and attempt my first ever Gold ROA.
Needless to say, I took on the challenge and entered Gold. Going into the race I had no expectations what so ever. I took it on as more of a learning curve and an experience.
Carrying through my success that the year 2016 had already given me I felt confident, fit and healthy going into the race
The national Enduro series consisted of 6 rounds nationally.
I had a consistent year. My comfort on my 200 XC-W showed in my results and fitness paid off. The competition was tough but kept pushing at every race.
The most enjoyable hard enduro and by far my favorite race of the year.

Racing this year in defense of my previous years title in the Silver class, I knew the 2016 edition wouldn’t be so easy. With way more competitors, stronger competition and a tougher track I sure had my work cut out for me.
The legend Alfie Cox held his first ever extreme Enduro invitational event on the South Coast at the Hendersons farm near the town of Unzumbe. 40 of South Africa’s best extreme Enduro riders were handpicked by Alfie himself to compete in the race and I was very grateful to be apart of the mix and the only female rider.
King of the Hill Hard Enduro in Romania was Another great opportunity made possible by the organizers of the event, my sponsors and Holger Dettman. It was a race I was always interested in and when the opportunity came up I jumped at it with open arms.
Last minute decision and I was off to Germany, with a unknown borrowed bike, 1 week of training and before I knew in an arena racing against the best in the world, X games gold medalist and ENDURO X world champion Sandra Gomez, trials bike world champion Emma Bristol and the German WMX champion.
